Featured Speaker: Dr. Kate Turner

Dr. Kate Turner is a seasoned occupational therapist and educator. She is Program Director for the OTD program at George Fox University. Kate has been an educator for 5 years; in addition to teaching she held the role of Academic Fieldwork Coordinator. For over 10 years she worked in various practice settings, but considers older adults and home health her passion areas. She also enjoyed many years as a fieldwork educator. Her research areas focus on rural health, engaging students in active learning strategies, and international occupational therapy.

Featured Speaker: Sheila R. Krajnik, EdD, OTR/L 

Dr. Krajnik brings over 43 years of diverse clinical and academic expertise to the OTu Team, specializing in adult neurological practice and gerontology. With extensive experience across various settings, she has held administrative and clinical specialist positions, contributed to research and advocacy efforts, and excelled in educating future OT and OTA practitioners.
