Web Accessibility Statement
Clinical Pattern Recognition. LLC is committed to creating and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive educational environment for people with disabilities and to ensuring equal access to information and services for all its subscribers.
On a regular basis, we continue to update content on app.clinicalpattern.com, to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. Our app frameworks and navigation are currently compliant. Please contact us for assistance or to request a VPAT.
We are committed to meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards across our web applications, simulations, and e-learning modules. Full AA compliance will be achieved by the April 2026 deadline as part of our ongoing accessibility initiative.
Yes. Our web apps and learning activities are designed to support screen readers and keyboard navigation. We are also implementing descriptive transcripts and audio enhancements to ensure accessible video learning experiences.
In accordance with WCAG guidelines, we have included descriptive audio whenever a video contains a visual component necessary to understand the content that is not already explained in the original audio track or text. The only exception is in areas of the app used as assessments for students, where narration would defeat the purpose of the module itself. This exception is built into the WCAG guidelines to protect assessment activities. We are happy to answer any questions on this front.
While we do not have a completed HECVAT available, the following key points are relevant for security, compliance, and financial concerns:
- Our product functions as an external learning tool (web application). It does not integrate with university systems or rely on university infrastructure.
- The only personal data (PII) we collect about students is their name and email address, which they use to sign in.
- Our product has e-learning activities that the students can take to help develop clinical reasoning and practice what they've learned. We track their scores on these activities, but the decision to use these for a grade (if at all) is at the discretion of each educator. Such a grade would be entered into the university LMS and is not available / stored by our product.
- We use Stripe to process payments for subscriptions. Payment processing info is never entered or stored by our product.
- We will be fully WCAG 2.1 AA compliant by April, 2026.
